On the wall today, I have my Jelly Roll Sampler Quilt Along blocks. I had made three blocks to trade out for ones I didn't like, but decided to keep them all and have a bigger quilt. Now I need to find a border fabric and get it completed.
I wasn't able to post any comments last week on people's design wall post, but I really enjoyed seeing them and look forward to them again today.
Oh I like the layout and your fabrics-good idea to use all your blocks-bigger quilt and no orphans!
ReplyDeleteVery good idea to add a few more blocks. I really like your fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you kept all the blocks you made for this, they look great together!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice sampler blocks. I like how you have the block that looks like stepping stones on both sides...neat effect.
ReplyDeleteVery nice layout. Maybe a darker border and sashing to make each block stand out. It would make the blocks pop and make the quilt a bit larger at the same time.
ReplyDeleteAlmost blends in with your carpet. I like all the blocks and agree with Charlene S that a darker border would be a good choice.
ReplyDeleteI love your neutrals. I don't often think of that as a color!

I like your blocks. I am working on mine also today.
ReplyDeleteI have mind done, too. But now I am in the same position, how will I sash and set them? So I am going to put mine aside until winter sometime. The fabric is very summery and in the cold I will want to work on something that makes me think and hope for summer. lol
ReplyDeleteYour JR is super!! Love the fabrics. I made
ReplyDelete"a Kittens Tale" by Lynette Anderson in that fabric range. I am sure you will find a border matching :-) I made my JR in Prairie Paisley. It looks entirely different. Hopefully,I`ll soon post it on my blog. Nice finding your blog!
