I got the center of my Blooming 9 patch together on Saturday, cut the borders on Sunday, prayed like crazy Monday and did my first mitered borders.
The mitered corners aren't perfect, but I can definitely live with them.
I also got my Fresh Vanilla quilt and the sashing for a scrappy 9 patch cut out on Sunday. Very productive weekend, just a few things left on the list.
Your borders look great - the mitres look perfect! Well done!
ReplyDeleteReally neat quilt ... I bought all of the stuff to do that pattern for a class, and then the class was cancelled. I've still got the stuff in the closet. I was going to do mine in turquoise. I like your color selections better.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, wonderful quilt, love it! I've just started mitering my corners, the first quilt went just OK, my second quilt..all 4 perfect!! Yours look good to me!!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking quilt - and your borders are super - love the fabrics you chose. I know you'll enjoy this beauty.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful! I haven't tried mitered corners yet.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty quilt. The colors remind me of Christmas but it is something that can be on display any time of year.
