I got 3 more rounds of 9 patches done this weekend. This only leaves me with 2 rounds or 104 more to do. I didn't lay out the entire thing because I am running out of room. I started with only 1 square instead of 3 in the middle. Will have to move furniture to lay out the whole thing to stack rows.

Head over to Judy's to see what everyone has been up to.

that's a wonderful quilt top! laying out bigger designs is a problem-either the floor area is not large enough, or even my design wall -I need 10 foot ceilings, but then I'd need a ladder.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous!

WOW - that is a beauty! It appears to be 9-patch and plain blocks set on point but I would have never imagine such beauty from simplicity. Your fabric choices are also beautiful. Can't wait to see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteKeep on quilting!
Love it! Is this a blooming 9 patch? Every time I see one of these I want to make one. I find that space is a problem for planning bigger quilts too. As soon as I arrange the pieces on the floor either the feline sits on them - or little fingers get in on the designing!
ReplyDeleteLovely top! I haven't made a blooming 9-patch but I want to after seeing yours!
ReplyDeleteOh nice! I have the book and do plan to make me one someday. I love your colors.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! You are on a roll - and I hear you about moving furniture...
